Rural Reach Counselling and Psychotherapy

In rural communities, it is really easy to feel like you are alone with what you are going through, and confused about where you should turn. Seeking counselling or psychotherapeutic support in these small towns can feel challenging and vulnerable, as maybe your therapist also coaches your child’s soccer team, your paths cross professionally, or you know you will run into them at the grocery store.

Maybe you aren’t ready to share the fact that you are struggling to others in your community, and worry that someone will recognize you as you enter your mental health professional’s office.

I use telephone-based mental health services bridge this gap in service availability and accessibility for rural and remote communities, so that you can have access to quality private mental health services from wherever you are. Telephone-based services are flexible, as you can access them around your schedule, comfortable, as you can access services from your preferred location (in your slippers or while out for a walk) and private, as you do not risk being seen accessing services from someone in your small community.

To make sure that my service is a good fit for you, I offer a free 30 minute consultation where you can hear from me a little bit more about how I practice, and you have an opportunity to share what is going on for you. and have flexible pricing options. I can be contacted through my website (www.ruralreachcounselling.ca) or via email at kayleigh@ruralreachcounselling.ca.
