BabyMoon Childbirth Services offers private and group prenatal classes, as well as IBCLC lactation consultant/lactation educator breastfeeding support to women and families in the Williams Lake and 100 Mile House areas. Big Brothers Big Sisters South Cariboo is a satellite office of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake hosted by the Cariboo Family Enrichment Centre in 100 Mile House. The In School Mentoring program provides girls and boys with a role model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with, within school grounds. For one hour a week, mentors meet with their mentee and engage in activities such as board games, crafts or just hang out in the playground. Our Big Sisters, provide girls and young women with a role model and friend to talk to and share their experiences of growing up with in a safe and non-threatening environment. Through regular outings, a relationship between a Big Sisters and Little is developed that is built on trust and common interests that is supported by our experienced case-workers across the country. Athletic therapy clinic that specializes in musculoskeletal chronic and acute injury assessment and rehabilitation. Rehabilitation sessions include manual therapy such as massage therapy, mobilizations, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, and therapeutic exercise. The clinic also offers medical field coverage for sporting events. Field coverage includes an emergency action plan discussed with all coaching staff, taping if required, injury assessment and return to play decisions, concussion recognition and a level 3 first responder. more info
