Protection Order Registry
Protection orders (family or criminal) issued by B.C. Courts or by the police are sent to the Protection Order Registry where staff enter them into the database. Staff at the registry do not deal directly with the general public. Instead, assistance is provided through VictimLINK BC. Individuals who have protection orders can call VictimLINK BC to ensure that their order is registered.
