BC Brain Injury Association
Brainstreams uses a broad definition of ABI, and created a user-friendly list intended to support patients and families struggling with traumatic brain injury, tumour, concussion and stroke. The information is organized by topics (e.g., local brain injury and stroke organizations, referral rehab services and housing options to name only a few) and includes a mapping function to assist with navigation.
The list includes services (places where people can go, programs they can attend or services they can access). There are also “Learn”, “FAQ” and “video” sections that include helpful information and resources, details about upcoming events, and survivors speaking about their journeys of recovery.more info
BC Centre for Disease and Control
The BC Centre for Disease Control provides provincial and national leadership in disease surveillance, detection, treatment, prevention and consultation. BC Drug and Information Centre
The Drug Information Service at DPIC is a consultative service supporting healthcare providers in B.C. who are involved in patient care. The service provides drug information to healthcare professionals including pharmacists, physicians, and nurses to support the safe and effective use of medicines. more info

Serves the families of children from birth to age five who are deaf or hard of hearing and/or who have speech and language learning challenges.more info
BC Family Residence Program
The BC Family Residence Program provides accommodation assistance to enable families to stay together when their child requires medical care at BC Children's Hospital or Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, including premature babies and newborns with other health concerns. Enhanced travel assistance is also provided through air transportation for patients of all ages.more info
