Connecting Learners with Knowledge “CLWK” is an online community where healthcare professionals can work together to improve patient care by sharing information, resources and success stories. Joining a community of practice is free and registration is simple. more info

The Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake and District is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality programs and services to the youth and families of Williams Lake. Through a range of social, recreation, education programs and outreach services covering young people between the ages of 7-18, we help young people learn the skills they need to grow into happy, healthy, productive adults.more info

The keyworker is a non-judgemental helper that will guide families through the assessment process and work with schools and other agencies within the community to ensure that needed supports are in place. The Keyworker will also work with individual children, youth and parents to learn about FASD and develop skills to be successful.more info

HandyDART is a public transit service designed to accommodate people with cognitive and physical disabilities. HandyDART service is provided to and from accessible building entrances.more info

The homeless outreach worker assists with individuals finding accommodations, getting off the streets, assisting with furnishings and household items. Taking any donations from community members to assist clients.more info

The Life Skills For Everyone programs offer participants the opportunity to develop more assertive communication skills in the many areas of their lives. We can learn this through role playing, experiential learning, peer and group evaluations. The program is a positive, equal, non-judgmental, fun and safe environment. Everybody will learn something new about themselves, develop a greater level of self-awareness and learn about choices we have in interacting with others to create positive environments if we choose. Post program support will be there to help in continuation of skill development and transfer of skills from the learning stage to the actual working stage.more info
