Child Care Resource and Referral
We offer training for individuals who would like to open and operate a child care facility in their home. We inspect these sites to ensure that all regulations that relate to child care are being fulfilled and perform support visits to ensure that the quality of care provided is sustained. We also provide ongoing workshops to ensure that our child care providers remain current with regards to child development and care strategies. We have developed a list of child care facilities available in Williams Lake. Parents can access this information when they are looking for daycare and we assist them in finding care that suits their needs. We also link parents with services and activities that are available in William Lake. We operate a toy and book library that is available to parents and day care providers alike. We participate in, support and develop child related events in William Lake such as Childrens Festival and Family Fest. We also provide programming for children such as story time and play groups.
